I’m Gilad, a filmmaker from Israel who allwas was the guy with the camera

 

My journey began in a small room with my mom, documenting the essence of life in our last year together. Only after I lost my mom did I understand the huge impact of a good memory. My wedding filmmaker journey starts here. 

 

But I wanted to do it differently. Traditional wedding films often felt too slow, overly dramatic, or predictable. I envisioned something bold. Fresh. Timeless. A wedding film that doesn’t just document the day, but one that makes you feel—again and again.

 

And that’s how Handcraft Wedding Films was born.

 

I take an experimental, cinematic approach, using a mix of cameras to capture multiple perspectives, seeking out the in-between moments that make each love story unique. Sound design plays a key role in my films, shaping the rhythm and emotion of every story I tell. Wedding filmmaking isn’t just about beautiful shots—it’s about crafting an experience that moves you.
